Express to Success

WorkSource Cobb is hosting one last in-person sign-up event on November 7, 2020, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at 463 Commerce Park Drive, Suite 100, Marietta, GA 30060 for Cobb County residents interested in applying or learning more about the 2020 Express to Success initiative.

Express 2020 is a no-cost fast-track into high-demand career training programs funded through the CARES Act and the Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA). The purpose of the program is to help those whose employment has been impacted by COVID-19 to upskill in their current field or gain training and certifications in high-demand industries increasing their employment outlook. Training programs include, but are not limited to, CDL, Project Management, Insurance Adjustment, Information Technology, and Healthcare fields. DETAILS:

• Open to Cobb residents.
• Attendees must wear a mask. Social distancing guidelines apply.
• Participation does not affect your unemployment benefits.
• Training in healthcare, Information Technology, Transportation & Logistics, Manufacturing and more (go to worksourcegaportal.com for eligible programs).
• Ages 18 & up. Eligibility does apply. BRING your ID, Social Security Card, & a Utility bill (residency)
• Participants are eligible for supportive services such as childcare, transportation and rental assistance
