On Saturday, July 19, we had the pleasure of gathering at Gritters Library for the Shaw Park Community Block Party—and what a day it was. The event brought neighbors, families, and friends together for an afternoon full of energy and connection. A live DJ kept the music going all day, while food trucks served up local favorites that had everyone coming back for seconds. Kids and adults alike enjoyed games, activities, and plenty of opportunities to laugh and unwind.
We're deeply thankful to our community partners who helped make the event possible, and to Cobb County Commissioner JoAnn Birrell for joining us and showing such strong support for our community. Events like this remind us how powerful it is when people come together with a shared purpose—to connect, to celebrate, and to uplift one another.
