The PowerUp! Program uses a 16-week earn and learn model to expand skills and awareness of industry opportunities to populations that have been disportionately shut out. The program combines work experience, applied knowledge, and mentorship to develop talent pipelines for high-demand, high-wage industries. Apprentices are matched with employer partners. The youth work 4 days a week or 40 hours per week, earning $14 an hour with academic, soft-skills & professional development every Friday. Upon completion apprentices earn industry recognized certifications, that fast track them into approved U.S. DOL Registered Apprenticeship. Some partners include PHCC, Cool Ray, PlumbWorks, and many more!
