Level Up is a free pre-apprenticeship and workforce development program designed to help young adults gain the education, skills, certifications, and hands-on experience needed to launch successful careers in the skilled trades and other high-demand industries. Through construction training, leadership development, community service, career coaching, and supportive services, participants can build a foundation for long-term success.

Who Can Participate?
LevelUp is designed for young adults, ages 16-24 who are:
- Interested in learning skilled trades and workforce skills
- Seeking employment, apprenticeship, or career training opportunities
- Looking to earn a GED or high school diploma while preparing for a career
- Lack prior experience in skilled trades

Level Up combines classroom instruction, hands-on learning, work-based experiences, and personal development to prepare participants for success.

Training and service-learning activities may also occur at employer, apprenticeship, educational, and community partner locations throughout Cobb County.
WHEN
When Can I Enroll?
Interested Level Up participants can enroll anytime, based on available openings and funding.
Program orientations are held regularly, and interested applicants are encouraged to complete an application and attend an orientation to learn more about eligibility requirements and available career pathways.
Program Length
Approximately 26 weeks (about 6 months) of education, occupational skills training, leadership development, and career preparation.
